Last updated: 30 July 2026. ZILAL is generally not the custodian of payments made directly between users. Refund rights depend on the specific service, written agreement, payment method, and applicable law.
When users pay one another outside an authorised ZILAL payment flow, the payer and recipient are responsible for the transaction, documentation, cancellation terms, and refund. ZILAL cannot automatically reverse or guarantee recovery of those funds.
Any ZILAL-owned paid feature must display the amount, purpose, provider, cancellation conditions, and refund rule before payment. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
Keep written terms, listing snapshots, messages, receipts, dates, and payment records. Report suspected fraud promptly and contact the payment provider or relevant authority where appropriate.
A listing, booking request, chat, badge, or status indicator does not mean ZILAL is holding money in escrow. Escrow applies only where an expressly authorised in-product service identifies the custodian and governing terms.
